Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Establish standards for using Dremio.
• Develop reports and reporting capabilities using Dremio.
• Transition workflows from SQL Server to a new framework using Apache Parquet and Apache Iceberg.
• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze multifaceted, larger-scale Software Engineering challenges.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to meet deliverables and compliance requirements.

• 5 to 7 years of development experience on prior Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
• 2+ years of BI visualization/reporting experience with tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• 2 years of SQL experience.
• Prior banking experience.
• Experience working in Agile environments

• Experience with Apache Iceberg, Dremio, Apache Parquet, and Spark.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Power BI reporting.
• Prior Capital Markets experience.
• Lead experience on BI projects to train and mentor others.

• 5 to 7 years of BI development experience.
• 5 years of BI visualization experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• 2 years of SQL experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Dremio experience (highly preferred)
