The Role And What You’ll Do Zuffa Boxing is seeking a Social Media Editor to shoot, produce, and edit high-quality video content that supports our brand across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, detail-oriented, and experienced in both short and long-form content production. You will work closely with the social media team to develop strategies, capture live content at events, and deliver engaging content under tight deadlines.
- Shoot, produce, and edit video content for Zuffa Boxing’s social media platforms.
- Organize, name, and archive all video assets using standardized logging processes.
- Develop both short-form and long-form video content that supports storytelling and brand objectives.
- Collaborate with the social media team to craft and execute video content strategies aligned with campaign and engagement goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to execute on assignments with other departments
- Capture behind-the-scenes, athlete features, fight footage, and event-day content.
- Stay informed on current trends and emerging best practices in digital video and social media.
- Follow production schedules and ensure all content is delivered on time.
- Use performance analytics to evaluate and optimize content strategy for maximum engagement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with proprietary or sensitive information.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle proprietary information with discretion.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and during live events.
- Travel to events as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
You Have These - 2–5 years of relevant experience in video production and editing, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of digital content, including social-first video formats.
- Boxing knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and respond promptly to team needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Proven track record of managing video projects from ideation to delivery under tight timelines.
