This is a Full-Time position
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 12 MONTHS OF COMMERCIAL BOX TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Straight Truck Route Driver - Northern, City and Southern Route, Store Deliveries
- Driver starts in Salt Lake City at the Penske Lease Office (2211 S 2000 W, West Valley City, UT, 84119) at 04:00, or when the CDL truck arrives.
- At the beginning of the shift the driver helps trans-load 53' reefer trailer into 3 reefer straight trucks.
- Trans-load requires driver to slide stacks of crates with a Milk Crate Hook/5th Wheel Puller from the back of the Trailer to the back of the Straight Trucks with the help of the other drivers.
- Driver delivers crates to Smith's store coolers.
- Park in the front of the store on either side of the front doors.
- Deliver corresponding crates to each department, deli and produce.
- When route is complete and all crates have been delivered, return to Penske Lease Office, fuel and clean truck for next shift.
- End of day is usually around 14:00-16:00 depending on the route.
- Route runs 5 days a week. Days off will be during the week.
