The ideal candidate will assist in design, drawing creation, test, and troubleshooting of automated test equipment and its devices while ensuring compliance with industry and military standards. Key Responsibilities: + Mechanical development, evaluation, integration, and certification of subsystems and test equipment. + Interpret, modify, or create 3D solid models and 2D engineering drawings. + Develop technical documentation such as mechanical assembly drawings, drawing trees, parts lists, schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and engineering change proposals. + Present technical data for assessment, review, and certification. + Work closely with management, engineering, and quality teams to ensure valuable and on-time deliverables. + Participate in design reviews to enhance system performance and reliability. + Analyze, modify, or replace various critical components/subsystems that have passed functional service life. + Perform system-component level root cause analysis, feasibility, and reliability studies. + Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance testing of electromechanical devices including power distribution, control systems, and communication interfaces. + Support laboratory and field-testing activities, including system verification and validation. + Ensure compliance with relevant military and industry standards. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
