PRIMARY ROLE
Position Summary
The Mech 1 Position is responsible for all preventive maintenance duties on production equipment, powered equipment, and facilities. Position is responsible for reactive maintenance and repairs. Must possess strong electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical skillset. Be able to react to a changing work environment quickly KEY MEASURES
Quantifiable metric of stated goals, objectives
1. Ensures that sales and margin targets are met.
2. Inventory levels.
3. Fill Rates.
4. Quality Control.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
Main Responsibilities Essential Tasks
• Must be able to lift to 75 pounds. Team Lifting is suggested.
• Must be able to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time.
• Must be able to qualify for driving powered equipment and operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner according to company guidelines.
• Must know or be willing to learn to use pneumatic tools.
• Must be able/willing to work with others.
• Patience is a requirement.
• Good housekeeping skills is a must.
• Assists with physical inventories as required.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Complies with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years on job training. Any certificates of skills a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical Requirements
Equipment & Machinery Position requires the ability to think strategically and self-motivate. Person must be able to operate with deadlines. The work environment will be on warehouse floor which will require the ability to navigate around logistical equipment within a warehouse setting. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to heights; regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat related to weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud in some areas.
