Job Summary:
Million Dollar Baby Co. is a family-owned company specializing in children's furnishings with a commitment to eco-conscious designs. The Solutions Engineer will drive data solutions, manage executive reporting, and foster collaboration across teams to enhance business processes and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement solutions using relational databases and SQL to improve data workflows and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers to develop and optimize data models, pipelines, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in data systems and workflows.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and manage frameworks for executive-level projects, ensuring visibility and alignment with strategic goals.
• Prepare and present status updates, dashboards, and reports for senior leadership.
• Act as the central point of contact for collecting and synthesizing cross-functional updates.
• Ensure data accuracy and relevance in reporting to support decision-making at the executive level.
• Facilitate and structure quarterly reviews, roundtables, and other key executive meetings.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and design technical solutions accordingly.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
• Work with project teams to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and solution delivery.
• Develop and maintain reusable templates and tools for reporting and project management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 1 year of hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL, and data workflows.
• Understanding of basic data engineering concepts, such as ETL processes and data warehousing.
• 1–2 years of experience in project management, executive reporting, or similar cross-functional roles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Proven ability to manage technical and cross-functional projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to present complex information effectively.
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to tackle complex challenges and deliver actionable solutions.
Preferred:
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
