**Job Title: Industrial Painter** **Job Description** As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for mixing paints and solvents according to manufacturer's specifications and ensuring the correct operation of automated mixing equipment. You will apply liquid paint to meet specifications using electrostatic and traditional paint guns, and assure that parts reside in the flashing and drying sections of the paint system for the specified time. Inspecting and correcting work as necessary, along with periodic cleaning and flushing of paint and solvent delivery systems, are essential to this role. **Responsibilities** + Mix paints and solvents according to manufacturer's specifications. + Operate automated mixing equipment correctly. + Apply liquid paint using electrostatic and traditional paint guns to meet specifications. + Ensure parts reside in the flashing and drying sections for the specified time. + Inspect work and make corrections as necessary. + Perform periodic cleaning and flushing of paint and solvent delivery systems. + Maintain and ensure maintenance of all paint system equipment. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint system and work area. + Assist in all areas of the paint line operation as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in paint preparation, industrial painting, and sanding. + Experience with spray guns, paint booths, and industrial paint. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Responsible for maintaining the paint system equipment. + Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. + Willingness to assist in various areas of the paint line operation. **Work Environment** Work in a dynamic industrial setting with advanced painting technologies and equipment. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace and may require occasional collaboration with the Maintenance Department. Dress code includes appropriate safety attire for an industrial environment. **Location and Shift** Trussville, Alabama. 2nd shift 3:30pm - 1:00am **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
